It’s funny to watch the people in the background: High neck, scarves, warm coats; and then Elena dressed like it’s a Summer day. Fashion weeks really are about the “I-don’t-care-I’m-freezing-just-take-my-picture” culture right now.
It reminds me of Suzy Menkes’s article “Circle of Fashion” and how “the people outside fashion shows are more like peacocks than crows”. Don’t get me wrong, I love the street style photos that we get during Fashion Weeks, they are incredibly inspiring, but sometimes it gets ridiculous.

I know this is crazy considering how so many countries are still having heavy snowfall even though it’s the last week of March and Spring has supposedly set in, but I do love some cold here even if it’s just because I can put on some winter wear. I know the hassles, but it still beats the humidity and stinging heat here. Sometimes.
